Found my Walkers in UK!

I have traced which Walkers I needed using new information entered from Parish registers. I have succeeded in tracing back to the early 1800s, which is a great advance on 1900!

Elusive William Walkers of the Midlands, UK

I'm researching my ancestor William Walker who married Gertrude Lawrence in Walsall, UK, 1896 and sailed to New Zealand where they brought up their family. I have followed many William Walkers via online databases but I'm not satisfied that I have found his father's marriage to Eliza ??, who is mentioned as 53 years old in the 1901 UK Census. I'm busy looking at all the William Walkers who could have married an Eliza when they were both aged around 19 to 25. The Staffordshire parish and census registers don't all seem to have been transcribed because I can't find Eliza and the family in any other Censuses than 1901. Obviously, with there being thousands of William Walkers, I can't order all their birth certificates to take a look at my grandfather's parent's names, so I'm stuck with a hard grind. Has anyone encountered any records of Doris Walker (daughter of my father's uncle) who was born in Pondicherry, India? She definitely existed, as I met her several times. She was born around 1902 to 1910 while her father was in the British military I believe. I was helped by someone who found some of my relatives on the Gilbert Family website, but the connections were not all logical given what I know about family origins. I'd love to help anyone who wants the state or national records consulted here in South Australia as I'm used to library research, having been a health researcher.

Looking for parents of WALKER in Walsall

I have a grandparent named William WALKER who married a Gertrude LAWRENCE in 1896 in STaffs. I am looking for William's parents- I think there was another William WALKER. I'd also like to find Gertrude's mother- her father was Frederick LAWRENCE I believe.

Thank you.

Looking for USA link to English or German/Flemish Kable/Cabell/Cables

I'm one of the many descendants of Aussie First Fleeters Susannah Holmes & Henry Kable/Cabell. I'm trying to find a link between the Cables etc, whatever spelling, who live in the USA and the English, Norfolk Kables/Cabells who traveled to the UK around the time of William & Mary of Orange from Flanders- originally German territory.

I found the Captain of a ship bring German emigrants to Australia was a Kable on Trove:
"Adelaide. Arrivals. December: 16 ? Bremen, barque, Hermann van Bickerath, 6000 tons, H. A. Kable, master, from Bremen and Rio de Janiero, with 294 emigrants. ADELAIDE. (1848, January 4). The Australian (Sydney, NSW : 1824 - 1848), p. 2. Retrieved November 28, 2014, from http://nla.gov.au/nla.news-article37131937"

So many people from the USA say "No, not your Kables", but I would like to trace any possible links regardless of opinions!

Cheers

Seeking SIMCOX HANCOX and ALCOCK who married WALKER NZ

My Father Edward Alfred WALKER arrived in NZ from UK 1906 with his Fa: WILLIAM & Mo: Gertrude nee LAWRENCE. Edward was born in Walsall Staffordshire UK on 16 June 1902 and died in Port Macquarie NSW Australia 1995. Brothers and sisters who also arrived in NZ were: Gladys, Hector Granville, Ivan, Noel, David Corinthic. My GrFa: William WALKER shows in the Parish Register at Ref:6b 182 marriage 1896, page 327 of marriages registered April May and June, page 182. His bride Gertrude LAWRENCE appears at Ref: Walsall 6b 1032 on page 187. Does anyone have anything definite about the WALKERs of Walsall (appearing in Census as of Walsall Foreign in 1871, living at 233 Pleck St)?
Several further children were born in Wellington, NZ: Ivan Wilfred (1911), Herbert Constantine (1910). My father's brother David Corinthic WALKER (apparently named after the ship he was born aboard) married Annie Mary DAY and had 3 children: Anne (born 1951, died c.1982 of diabetes), Ruth (born 1952) (married Keith VERNON), two sons Philip and Kevin born in 1980s; and David WALKER who was born about 1955 and is married with 4 children, living in the Sth Island of NZ. Hector WALKER married and had two children, Peter and Patricia (m. Kerse). My cousin Noel(ene)TAYLOR (born 1938) (married to David TAYLOR)is the only child of Ivan Wilfred, wife possibly Audrey.
My full name is Margaret Kable WALKER born 2nd February, 1952 (Mo: Coral Rose nee Kable born 17th March 1914, died 7 November 1994 in Port Macquarie, NSW, Australia. She is one of the "notorious" Kables whose ancestor John Henry KABLE helped carry Governor Arthur Philip ashore in Australia in 1788 and was pardoned of his crime of stealing household silver and linen and granted land in Sydney.] He married Susannah HOLMES and had many children who generally populated NSW! My parents weren't very talented at populating anywhere and I inherited this trait- I am an only child with no offspring, so I make family trees easier!
I finally found my cousin in New Zealand via his brother's wife on Facebook. Alan SIMCOCK/SINCOCK/SIMCOX had been living in Auckland, when I met him in 1967 but I lost contact and believe he died in a motorcycle crash. This was confirmed, unfortunately by his brother.
