Cannot find Jeremiah Collins b bet. 1810-13 N.C. m. Nancy Scott b. N.C. Found them in Morehouse Parish, LA. in 1850. Living with them was Catherine Scott b appx 1767 N.C. On 1860 Morehouse Census. All 3 had died by 1870. NO TRACE of them in N.C. Just the census said N.C. Morehouse had other Scott's b. in N.C. Can't connect the dots.

Grandpa Jeremiah is a thorn in the flesh of all of our family researchers. We know he was in Morehouse Parish, LA. by 1850. His wife Nancy and a Catherine Scott lived in the household. Catherine we believe is Nancy's Grandmother. b. in 1765/67 in N.C. Jeremiah was 37 in 1850. Nancy was 29. The Parish was full of Scott relatives but we cannot connect the dots back in N.C. We believe this is the same family. Not sure if they are brothers & sisters or cousins etc. I have the present day history of the family beginning in 1850. I have a public tree on Ancestry.com "Jeremiah Collins". Even they have not given me any hints.
