Robert MCMILLAN was my Great Grandfather. He Fathered my Grandad named Hugh BELL. Born 1874 in Islay, Scotland.(he was illegitimate) Robert MCMILLAN wanted Hugh to bear his name so my Grandad became Hugh Bell MCMILLAN. Robert emigrated to Canada with his wife and I think he had two Daughters. I have no names for them though. He kept in touch with Hugh who married Mary Henderson NAISMITH and they had a large family, my Father being one of the children. Robert offered to pay for the whole family to go to Toronto, Canada but they declined as one of their children died and they didn't want to leave him buried on Scotland soil alone. I would be most grateful if anyone could shed on light on this for me. I have a lot of information concerning Hugh's family with his wife Mary if anyone needs help with that.
