Howdy and thanks for any assistance.

I am a descendant of Uriah "Urian" Hugh Ayers born 1815 in Patrick County Virginia and died 1883 in Fancy Gap, Carroll County, Virginia. Uriah had at least three wives - Letty Anne Mathilda Jane McMillian, Amanda McMillan, and Rebecca Jane Hiatt. I cannot locate Uriah's parents.

Andrew Jackson Ayers, one of Uriah's sons, born 1859 in Patrick County Virginia and died 1917 in Fancy Gap, Carroll County, Virginia married Sarah Jane Westmoreland, born 1863 (in Virginia I believe), and died in 1955 in Patrick County Virginia. Sarah married Samuel Grant Bowman after Andrew died. Samuel was born 1860 and died in 1942 in Patrick County, Virginia. I cannot locate Sarah's parents.

My third "Brick wall" is on my mother's side (hope this non-Ayers request does not break any site social conventions). I am descended from Son Delph, born 1870 in Tennessee - death date unknown although the location was Keoke, Virginia - he lived at Yokum Station, Lee County, Virginia. Son's children were Green Delph, b. 1888, d. 1939, Lucy Delph Herron, b. 1890, d. 1971, Cephas (Seaf) Delph (my grandfather), b.1892, d.1952, and Hobert Delph, b. 1898, d.1958. I cannot locate Son's parents.

I do have lots of research from the web on other relatives and am happy to share.
