Originially was de Zavala then Zavala, but after dad's wwII tour was Zabala

We started a family tree about 10yrs ago and then gave up. we got to about our great,great grandfater. My father's name was Bidal Zavala. Our ancestors crossed into use at Eagle Pass, Tx. Most of them stayed in that area and Crystal City and Corrizo Springs. Will welcome any info. thanks.
