Lululog on Family Tree Circles

Noah was borned in Tennessee, moved to Alabama, then to Texas. He was married to Modina Emma Walker. Their children were Lucinda E., Frances M., William Jefferson, Margaret C., and John L.
I have been searching for NOAH for about 15 years now, and have hit a real big brick in the road, with no way around it. I need help from someone. I know he didn't just pop up from no where, with no PARENTS.
He is in the Federal Census 1850 in St. Clair Ala., 1860 Smith County Texas,1870 Sarpy County,Nebraska. Nothing before or after these dates.
William Jefferson Mullens was my grandfather he was born Feb. 7, 1846 Al. Frances "Frank" M. born Dec. 1, 1844, John L. April 13, 1850.
The L. in John name may be LOUIS, because my dad said he was after his uncle's and his name was LOUIS FRANK MULLENS.
