Lynart on Family Tree Circles

I am fine on the Lent line which goes back to the Netherlands but I can't find anything on his wife Mary Blauvelt. I have other Blauvelts on my line but none are direct ancestors. They lived in New York and before the British took over, New Amsterdam. I have had most of my success by joining Single Surname Societies. Church records are invaluable in this pre-America era. Some early histories especially those that published pictures of family homes helped to establish where they lived and when. There are no civil records except for those fighting in the various wars, mostly the Revolutionary War.
