My maternal grandfather, Joel William Irwin,born Nov 10, 1902, was the son of Thomas Jefferson Irwin, born in 1919, and Ida Mae Wolf. Thomas' father and mother were Joel Irwin and Emily Snow? They were married on Dec 24, 1901. I am seeking more information on these ancestors and their ancestors. The state of Wisconsin is mentioned, and Indiana. I need dates, names, places. My grandfather swore he was Irish and he mentioned there may have been native American, possibly Sioux, on his side of the family.

My maternal great-grandparents were Charles H. Ellis and Lillian M. Clover.

Charles' parents were Polemon Ellis,born 1849, died 1921,buried Crown POint Cemetery,Kokomo, Indiana, and Martha Applewood-no information. I need more information on Polemon's ancestors and Martha Applewood's ancestors. I also need places of origin, burial, etc...

Lillian's parents were John Clover,born Dec 17 1863,died November 12 1937. He is buried Crown POint Cemetery, Kokomo, Indiana and has a Native American marker at his grave; Lillan's mother was Eva L. Stuckey,daughter of Uriah Stuckey and Kiezah Applegate. I believe the Stuckeys originally were from Pennsylvania. I need ancestry, states and countries, and any other information.

John H. Clover's father was Native American, probably Cherokee; his name was Elkhanian Clover. Elkhanian died April 10 1862. He married Mariam (Miriam?) Jones, who also was Native American, probably Cherokee.She died Dec 3 1898. They had another son, William. Lynvashti

They had a son, Daniel Thomas, born 1866, who married Mary A. Weeks, born 1870; they had a son, Herman Charles, born Aug 14 1891 in Greensboro, Indiana. Herman married Vashti Elvira Fadely born Mar 8 1894 near Cadiz, Indiana. They had a son, Robert Charles, born Oct 4 1924 in Spiceland, Indiana. Robert married Lillian Mae Irwin born Jan 9 1926 in Cudahy, Wisconsin. They had me.
