My great-great-grandmother's name was Matilda JONES. She was born in Alabama in 1845. She married Samuel WHITMAN who was also born in Alabama in 1845. They had a son named Emmett or Emmit WHITMAN, my great-grandfather, who was born in Alabama in 1888. Emmett married my great-grandmother Cassie GRIGBY. My great uncle's name is Charley TURNER. He was born in 1919. His parents were Tom and Clarra. They lived in Claiborne County Louisiana. I would like to meet some of my cousins!

My great grandfather was Emmitt WHITMAN. He died in 1928. His parents were Sam WHITMAN and Matilda JONES. They all lived in Madison County, Alabama. If anyone has any info, please let me know.

My great-grandmother's name is Cassie GRIGBY. She married my great-grandfather Emmet WHITMAN in Alabama in 1903. None of my family has much information about their lives. Anything would be appreciated.

My grandmother is Minnie Walker, maiden TURNER. She was born in 1917 in Louisiana. Her parents were Tom Turner and Clarra Turner, maiden MARTIN, both born in Louisiana. Tom Turner's parents were Tom and Modena, maiden not known. Clarra MARTIN's father's name Wesley MARTIN and her mother was Casey MARTIN. My grandmother doesn't know much about her grandparents, and I would like to find some information on them. I would like to share it with her while I am still able to. Also, it would benefit the rest of my family to get to know our relatives.
