I have very little information on the background of my father Edward Michael Reidy. I know he was born in Ballarat and I believe his father and possibly some brothers came from Ireland around mid 1800's. Either my grandfather or one of the brothers was called Martin. One of this generation may have been a local councillor in Ballarat and then the family moved to Cora Lynn in Gippsland.

If anyone can help point me in the direction of more information I would appreciate it
