Hello, My name is Dawn Morgan Mercier..I live in Michigan, but the elusive ancestors I've been researching lived in Kentucky mostly, but recently I've discovered that I have cousins in the N.E part of the state of Texas, Hunt County to be more specific.

This is my first online journal about the research that I have been doing, I'm not a big 'blogger', but I hope that with Family Circles I can find more information than I already have.

My relatives from Kentucky were around the time of the Jackson Purchase. The eldest relative I've found so far is Thomas Miles MORGAN SR ,b.1790 he married Catharine UNK in either SC or VA, two of my uncles can't decide on which.

My line goes like this:

Thomas Miles Morgan SR....
William Miles Morgan,
Jeremiah 'Jerry' Miles Morgan,
George Morgan,
Jessie Henry Morgan
They married the names; Rudd, Munsell, O'Connor..
