I have been researching the Woodheads of Oswaldtwistle/Church/Accrington in Lancashire, England. I have got back as far as Thomas Woodhead who married Ellen (Nellie) Whalley at St James, Church Kirk, Lancashire, England in 1811 (online parish records). However I can't find where or when either of them were born.

Also, I have a Selina Woodhead(c1856), unmarried, and her daughter Mary Jane(b 1879)who disappeared after 1881 along with Selina's sister Margaret (Maggie) and her husband John Dooley.

I have hit several other brick walls and would be very grateful for any info on the Lancashire 'Woodheads'.
