"Looking for MASTERS of Studland, England"

I am researching my husbands father's (MASTERS) side of his family.

His grandfather, Frank Masters arrived in Campbell River, British Columbia, Canada in 1916.

He was one of 10 children that we know of, three of the youngest brothers all came to Campbell River, Reginald b.1889, Frank b.1890 and Edward b.1895.

Their parents were Thomas Walter Masters b.1852 and Mary Anne Keates b.1850.

Other siblings were: Thomas, George, Moses, Walter, Christian, Bessie, and Jemima.

Frank Masters and his wife Anne Connell were married Oct. 31, 1917 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. They bought 100 acres of land in Campbell River and farmed that land, clearing 40 of those acres by hand in 12 years. They had two children, Thomas and Kathleen.
