Samuel W McGregor: 1879-1880 East Carondolet, St. Clair Illinois/1880 census for same area,

Samuel W McGregor aka S.W. McGregor, was a Constable. According to a short bio. of him, he was listed as the Sheriff there.
He was a male age 51 in 1880. I can not find anymore information other than the census information. I am needing his burial location. He died in East Carondelet, St Clair Illinois. My father had two searches made for him in Bellville but the information could not be found. He was also a resident of Gibson IN. for quite awhile prior to 1879.
Q: Did they keep photos of the sheriff's etc. and does anyone know where else I can search. We got a very good 1880 census and know he married three times. His wife when he died was Mary E Nolan Smith McGregor.
Thanks for your time

Does anyone have a photo of Finley Logan?

Finley Logan and his wife Rachel Elizabeth Hill moved to Belleville, Republic Co. Kansas back in 1870. Does anyone have a photo of them or him? Prior to this move they lived in Boston Mass. He worked in the shipyards first, then owned a 3 story Blacksmith shop. They bent rail for the rail road among other things. They had several children. Finley may be his middle name, I'm not sure. He died at the Co. Farm. I think it was 1898. He's listed as Finlay in his obit. Can't remember Bellevilles newspaper, but no picture. Elizabeth died at the home of her daughter, Mrs Ada Stewart'Logan' Waite sometime after Finleys death.
PS they had an adopted son also. William Wallace Logan. Birth name:Joseph Oran Holtz.
