HAY family of Devon, England

I have been looking for the family of Colonel Howard George Fitzgerald HAY, for several years now. Howard married my Nanna in 1953, Ethel McNaughton WACEY (nee BURNS),She was 64.They came to Sydney to live in Wahroonga, where Nanna had a house. I have photos of Howard's daughter, Avice's marriage and a silver platter, engraved with signatures, to return to the rightful owners. One clue I have been given was that Avice had 2 daughters. i have tried contacting one of them, Fiona LANDERS nee EVANS, but have not had a reply, even if it was negative I would like to know!!

CLIMIE of Kilbarchan Renfrewshire Scotland

I am trying to find out how Margaret CLIMIE who married James ALLISON in 1839, at "Collochant" Kilbarchan, came to Australia. They were here by 1840 according to letter I have, written by Rev.John Dunmore LANG in 1860, stating that they were in his congregation in Sydney in 1840. I can find the death of their first child, a son, but nothing of his birth.
