He is my father. He used to own a Real Estate company in Brooklyn New York on Fulton Street. I last saw him in 1991, when my mom moved to Florida about the same time Gilbert sold his business and moved to Georgia? Not sure of too many details regarding his sudden departure, although I was told he married a woman named Daisy. Gilbert had many brothers, some of them half brothers by the name of Valentin. Tony (Armando) Valentin died in a car accident in the early 1980's, he was an officer with the NYPD. Gilbert had fought in Vietnam and had been exposed to agent orange, resulting in brain cancer which he had a tumor removed in the 1990s at the v.a. Hospital which i know he survived. After 22 years of not knowing what has become of him, I am seeking any information that might pertain to him. He has 2 grandchildren from me now, who are twins, a boy and a girl, who are not quite 2 years old.

I have a sister named Sandra. My mom's name is Crucita. If any of this seems relevant, please contact me. I'm trying to piece together our family history and medical records for the sake of my children, as well as our lineage. Thanks for reading, I look forward to any and all correspondence.

I went to the social security dept in 2009 & was told he had not been reported dead, and has not tried to collect any benefits either. I had run a credit check on his social security number in 2003 and it had been used to by someone to buy a home in queens new york. Sadly, i lost that info and never followed up on it. I would be curious to know if I could find out any info on him from ACRIS, the NYC tax/public records service. I have found old real estate transactions he was part of but no SS#. Im really interested in tracking him down now, any and all help would be appreciated.
