Application For Pension:Jessie Burrell
State of Georgia,Pickens County. Cannot read name of wife.Personally appeared before me ,Mrs.??Burrell.of said county.After being duly sworn on oath.Says she is the widow of Jessie Burrell.Who was duly inrolled as indigent pensioner,from the county of Pickens.and was paid a pension of90.00 dollars from Pickens county.for1919 And ,that the said Jessie Burrell died in Pickens county on the 19 day of March ,1920and at time of his death ,a pension of 100.00 was due him ,from Pickens County.And unpaid for 1920.Applicate further states that she married the said Jessie Burrell 1901 ,in Pickens CountyState of Georgia,Pickens County. On going back and researching my 2nd grandparents ,I found out a lot.Emaline Gosnell Burrell 1852-1934.(my 2nd Grandmother)First off ,I found a Harrett Burrell Davis.1871-1943.She was the daughter of Emaline Gosnell Burrell.Harrett marries a Thomas Davis.On death certificate Thomas list Pink Burrell as father.Children of Harrett And Thomas are John Bunyan Davis .1902-1980.One of Harrett Burrell Davis siblings is my GreatGrandfather Charlie Albert Burrell.Research source is Ancestry.
