Arrived in Hamilton New Zealand about 1923. Married Elisabeth Maughn

James HARRISON was an employee of Raymond and Young as captain of a whaling ship, possibly the "Norval", sailed from Nantucket to Sydney (Australia) and then to Wellington ( New Zealand) sometime in the 1830's. He married a Maori chiefteness ( Mereana Ngamai ) daughter of Rawiri Te Motutere, and worked out of Kapiti Island.( Wellington).
He was my Great Great Grandfather.

William Ellerslie WALLACE arrived in Wellington, New Zealand on the Aurora in 1840 and at some stage after that married Arapera RONGOUROA PARAI, a Maori woman from Wellington. Their daughter Turia WARAHI or Julia WALLACE was my Great Grandmother. I would like more info on William Ellerslie WALLACE prior to his arrival in New Zealand please.
