Looking for descendants of Shadrack and Elizabeth (nee Rubenstein (or similar)) Dewey

I am looking for the descendants of Shadrack and Elizabeth who were the parents of
my great grandmother Clara, who married (? London Coachman ?) John Parkin and subsequently
had my Grandmother Amy and her siblings; Olive, David and Samuel. I am told that the
Rubenstein connection involves Shakers in America. Thankyou.

Looking for the descendants of Edwin And Martha (Nee Ezzard) Pollard. (Market Weighton, Yorks. Blacksmith)

My maternal great grandmother's maiden name was Martha Ezzard (or similar surname).
She married (? Blacksmith of Market Weighton ?) Edwin Pollard. I am told they
had about 5 children. Their son John was my grandfather. I remember his brother
Maurice. The other 3 had names like Stanley, Edwin and Edward. They were all born about
a century ago. John and Maurice both lived in Kingston Upon Hull at given times.
It has long been held in my mother's family that Edwin was descended from, or otherwise
related to Midshipman John Pollard of HMS Victory. I have seen a photograph of this
illustrious gentleman and I was astonished by the resemblance to many members of my family.
I don't know anything about the Ezzard line and any information would be appreciated. Thankyou.
IN RESPONSE TO REPLY He was born at Hull in 1915. THANKYOU. (I am not sure I am doing it properly as
I am a beginner with computers and genealogy)

Trying to prove connection to Midshipman John Pollard of HMS Victory.

I have it from my Mother and her brothers that we are descended from
Midshipman John Pollard of Trafalgar; "England's Avenger".
The earliest solid foundation I have is that Edwin Pollard and Martha Pollard
(nee Ezzard) were my Great Grandparents. I think he was from Market
Weighton, Yorkshire, and that he was a blacksmith.
They had 5 children,(I think.) Their son John was my grandfather.his wife
was called Amy (nee Parkin) He was at
some time a Railway blacksmith in Bradford. I know they also had my Great
Uncle Maurice Edward Pollard (1908 - 1991) and their other children had
names like Stanley, Edwin and Edward, if not actually those names.
I am a complete beginner with both computing and genealogy and would be
very pleased for any help. Thankyou.
