Comparing photos to see if they are the same person
I have two photos of my grandfather Reg Emery, one possibly him at a very young age 16-19 yrs and the other in his 60s. Does anyone know of anyone/expert who would be able to compare the two to see if its the same person. I have tried and each time I look I see simalarities but I don't trust my own judgement.

Ellen PARISH born in Devon
My great great great grandmother Ellen PARISH born 1834 in Devon to Joseph Parish and Loveday Spear. She came out to Australia on the 19 AUG 1853 per ship LADY KENNAWAY with her sister Elizabeth PARISH who later returned to England.
Ellen married Bruce Laythorne in 1853 who was also from Devon, he was killed in a mining earth fall at Raglan Victoria in 1859. They had 3 children.
In 1861 Ellen remarried William Milkins my gt gt gt grandfather in 1861, they had 4 children. I have no idea what happened to William as no death record has been found.
Ellen remarried again to Thomas Tinsley, He died in 1903 and Ellen died in 1913 aged 79
EMERY, Reginald
Reg Emery b.1899 in Bristol came to Australia when he was about 22 yrs old possibly with a brother. I think he was a boilermaker in England. Possibly in the british merchant navy. Reg said he 'jumped ship' so have no idea when he came to Australia, the only shipping record I can find is in 1922 R Emery age 22 came from New Zealand on the Paloona 2.
He often said he was the oldest of 13 children and that his father married a few times. On the 1911 Census two of his brothers were Douglas b.1902 and Cecil b.1906, there was another child deceased.
His father; William Robert Emery b.1862 Cardiff, Glamorgan,Wales occ. Electrical Engineer Glam Cardif,
mother; Annie Marks b.1865 Carmarthenshire, Wales. she died before 1911 as William was a widower on the 1911 Census with 3 sons Reginald, Douglas and Cecil, another child had previously died (possibly when Annie died not sure)
He married Lucy Lawrence in 1912
Reg married my grandmother Alma in 1938 in Victoria.
He died aged 76 in Jan. 1976 Dandenong, Victoria, Australia
12/05/2012
I received Reg's brother Douglas Emery's birth record and his mothers name was Catherine Marks, I still haven't been able to find any birth record for Reg not even under Marks his birthday (as far as we all knew) 13th November 1899 in Bristol. any help would be appreciated.
Marks from Wales
I am looking for any information on my great grandmother Annie Marks b.1865 Carmarthenshire, Wales. I believe she died before 1911 as William was a widower in the 1911 census, but I can't be certain. I am not sure if Annie was a pet name or her actual name.
Annie married William Robert EMERY b.1862 in Cardiff (or maybe wasn't married at all as I think Wm was still married to a previous wife) They had 4 children, Reginald, Douglas, Gertrude (died before 1911) and Cecil. All born in Bristol. I don't know if Annie was the mother of four four.
I have tried to obtain birth and death records but my money keeps being refunded as no information can be found.
I remember hearing my grandfather Reg saying his father had been married a few times and there were about 13 kids. Wm married Lucy Lawrence in 1912
