My great Aunt Ann L. Connell married John G Milligan on 7/28/1892 at St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Washington, DC. Records indicate that john's parents were William and Elizabeth from Maine. I believe Ann and John remained in D.C. but am unsure. Does any oe know if they had children, what John's occupation was, when each died and were they were buried.

I am looking for information on my gggrandfather Charles McGill, born around 1825 in Co. Mayo. He immigrated to Cincinnati by 1848 and had a wife, Mary Moran, and a son Thomas born in 1848. Mary must have died soon after as Charles remarried in 1852 to Rose McKenzie. They had the following children together: John born in 1855, my ggrandfather, Annie, Charles, Francis and James. I believe the last 2 children were born in Covington. I cannot find Charles of Ireland after 1873. The family stayed close to Covington and Cincinnati except for John, my ggrandfather who relocated to Washington, DC to work in the Bureau of Engraving and Printing. I am a beginner researcher so any help would be appreciated.
My gg grandfather was Joseph Stutts born around 1821 in PA or Germany - I am not sure. His Stutts family settled and stayed in PA-focusing on Juniata Co. and Harrisburg. He married Hannah Shrawder and they had the following children: William Lucian in 1852, George in 1855, Martha about 1857 and Randolph in 1862. It looks like Joseph also died in 1862. I cannot find anything on him and I am a beginner researcher. Can anyone help.
I am embracing my Irish heritage. I am looking for my great grandfather's roots in Ireland. My great grandfather was baptized 8/28/1838 in Laharan, Boherbue Ireland. His name was Denis Connell and he came to America and settled in Washington, DC in the 1850's. He was a grocer on Capitol Hill. I am looking for info on his exact arrival date in the US and info on his Irish family. His father was John Connell, born 1810 and his mother was Mary Sullivan, born 1815. I would like to know when they were marrried and in which county. I believe John Connell's parents were William Connell and Mary Connor. I would like info on these ancestors and the names of Denis's siblings and who might have come to America also.
