*Florence Wharton Waddell's obit lists Pearl Pemberton as her mother, lists her siblings, & has no mention of her father or deceased siblings. Not sure who the Pearl Pemberton is. Photo of my grandparent's headstone says "Mattie P. Powell". No one in famiy ever recalled her being called anything but "Mattie".
