BODLEY Family NSW AUSTRALIA

Hannah Bodley, daughter of Emery and Martha Bodley, of Buckingham, England, married William Wilkinson, at Tamworth, NSW, in 1861. Hannah came to Australia aged 14, with her family in 1857, aboard the ship Vocalist (assisted immigrants). Hannah's daughter Emma/Emily Wilkinson married Angus McIntyre, our paternal great grandfather.

Thank you, Steve and Lesley, for your generous assistance.

BOODLEY and WILKINSON in AUSTRALIA

William Wilkinson married Hannah Boodley in 1861 at Tamworth NSW.
Hannah Wilkinson (nee Boodley) died in 1931 at Tamworth, NSW.
Charles Boodley and wife Fanny are listed as Hannah's parents.
Hannah was also listed as "Anna" on some NSW government indexes.

Do you have any NSW Boodley relatives in your tree?

I would like to learn more about this Boodley family. Abi.

William Wilkinson and Hanna Boodley married 1861 Tamworth

Can anyone untangle this puzzle for me? Too many William Wilkinsons at Tamworth and no Boodleys on the BDM register in this area or era.
Do you have Boodleys in your tree? Can you help me find my Hanna?

CRAIG - ISABEL /ISABELLA CRAIG and WILLIAM PARKER

Isabel Craig and William Parker were married in 1888 in Glen Innes.
Their daughter, Florence Jean PARKER, b. 1901, is our paternal grandmother. Can anyone on the Parker side help me sort out the Williams? William J Parker b. 1888 is Florence's brother. William J Parker snr is Florence's father. Where do the other Williams fit?

Can anyone on the Craig side help me sort out the Isobel/ Isabel/Isabellas?

I am waiting on certificates for specifics of this "1888" generation, but the next??? Can anyone help?

GETTING IN TOUCH WITH MY IRISH SIDE

My research begins in Australia with pioneer families that came from Scotland. Some of them, however, had parents or grandparents from Ireland. My great - great - great grandmother, Agnes Currie, for example. In 1871 she was living at Cloonytrace Skirry Ireland with her husband Robert Moffat. Her daughter Margaret Moffat was married at Ballymena that year to my great - great grandfather William McCord. So now I am delving into my irish roots. Everything is green! Not so bad! I happen to like green. Still hunting ... Abi

CURRIE CURRY MOFFAT McCORD McINTYRE IRELAND

The Irish Family History Foundation list a church baptism for Agnes Curry 1830 in Co. Antrim. My Agnes Currie (b. 1830?) was married to Robert Moffat (b. 1828?), a farmer from Clonytrace, Skirry, in Ireland. At the time of her marriage to William McCord at the registrars office in Ballymena in 1871, their daughter Margaret (b. 1850?) gave her address as Cloonytrace, Skirry, Ireland. Can anyone help confirm that this is my Agnes Currie? Still hunting Abi
