I and two siblings were removed from the home in 1964 by CPS in Houston, TX. A grandfather, who was ill, was asked to take all three; however, he was unable to do that. I was born Shiela Ann Privett on September 19, 1963. Don't know too much, but after 20+ years of searching, I am pretty sure my father's name was Fred. I am not of the Christine McDonald clan of privetts, at least not according to any of her living family members.

Seems like someone should remember an event as traumatic as one of their relatives losing three of their children to CPS in the 1960s.
