Looking to expand my genealogy by getting in touch with descendants of the CANTWELL / MARKHAM / KENNA / HOEY / MCCROHON families that mostly lived in NSW Australia.

Have much information to share. Alison QLD.

ENGLAND: Looking for the COMMINS family of Broadhembury, Devon

Dear Members, Hi. Recently I was thrilled to be able to add three generations more to the top of my family tree from another descendant (J.Forbes-Smith) via our mutual trees on GenesReunited.

Note1: The COMMINS surname appears to be a derivation of CUMMING / CUMMINS / COMYN etc. See surname wiki page by clicking on COMMINS at bottom of this journal.

Note2: Not surprisingly, it appears that a few of the interconnecting family surnames appear at Transcript of Parish Registers from Milverton, Somerset.

My COMMINS family tree...

If anyone can shed anymore light on these family connections, I would be exceedingly grateful.

Kind regards,

NEW ZEALAND: Looking for connections ... 1850s Richard Marriner married Hatariti

I'm looking for any possible connections to my husband's family. I have located a marriage between a Pakeha and a Maori woman, Richard MARRINER married Hatariti on the 3rd of September 1856 at Rawene, New Zealand. No surname is known for Hatariti.
