I have been tracking the Johnston family that married into the Burnett family. I have information dating from 1610 to 1410.

Lucretia Johnston married John Burnett in 1657 in Virginia. She was born on 11 MAR 1628 in Aberdeen, Scotland. Her father was Andrew Johnston, born 9 MAY 1585, Aberdeen, Scotland. His father was William Johnston born in 1560, Aberdeen, Scotland.

Margaret Johnston married Thomas Burnett 3 JUN 1608 in St. Nicholas Parish, Aberdeen, Scotland. She was born in 1575, Caskieben, Aberdeen, Scotland.Her father was George Johnston born 1544, Caskieben, Aberdeen, Scotland. His father was William Johnston born abt 1520.

The Jonstons and Burnetts were very tight in Scotland and have a long history together.
