I have found my Stallings family members as far back as Nicholas Stallings born in the 1600s in middlesex england to my grandfather ellis dixon, ellis is where I have hit a wall. ellis r. dixon was born in 1881 in durham nc. he died in 1948 in portsmouth va. he married lillie stallings no date. ellis is the one i need to find.
