I am researching my family & have been able to race them to Matt & Elizabeth Edmons between 1880 to 1900.All I know about them is this & Matt was born around 1842,I know nothing about Elizabeth not her maiden name or anything.These are my brickwalls.Its as if their ghosts.Growing up I was raised with my grandma who said this side is of Cherokee descent & Black Dutch.I found Matt & Elizabeth listed in two census for my Great grandpa John Henry Edmons as his parents.I recieved a email from the vital department in Tennesse saying they didnt have a Matt married to a Elizabeth but a Robert & he is listed as Mulugeon or milato.Please can anyone help me?I have posted pictures of John Henrys daughter my great grandma Lily Mae edmons Dearth with her husband Elijah Clinton Dearth.

I have traced my great grandmas side to a Matthew & elizabeth Edmons.I found two census one in 1880 the other in 1890.In the 1880 the name was spelled eadmons.I cant find anything else out about them.I was wondering if someone could help me with this & maybe his parents & her maiden name?
