Thomas Jones born in Georgia ca 1786 and migrated to Bourbon co, Ky. where he married Mary or Polly Burns. They made their way north, to St. Joseph Co.,Indiana. Some of their children were William, Harriett Hardy, Margaret Hardy, and Elizabeth Holmes, and perhaps another daughter,Anna. Some of the children were born in Bartholomew and Shelby Cos in Indiana. In 1860 census of Bartholomew Co, Indiana, Thomas Jones 65 is in the home of William McClintic and wife Anna 49, Anna reported that she was born Georgia, Is Anna McClintic a child of Thomas and Mary Burns Jones? In the 1850 census of St Joe Co, Indiana, Mary Jones is in the home of daughter Harriett Hardy and Thomas Jones is in the home of daughter Elizabeth Holmes. It is rumored that they did not get along and therefore lived apart. A newspaper item in 193 Plymouth Pilot, indicated that a son of Thomas and Mary Jones lived in Bartholomew Co. Indiana. Any help on the Jones family will be appreciated.
I am looking for the father of Eddie Hakey who was 8 in the 1880 Census of Deer Lodge, Montana. His mother was Martha Mallory Hakey. They were living with James Mallory. Martha was listed as his sister. Eddie listed as born Indiana, father a blank, and mother born Indiana.
James amd Martha were the children of Philip Mallory and Amanda Mahoney Mallory.
James K.P.Mallory, and Thomas B Mallory were in Deer Lodge Montana fairly early. Their father, Philip Mallory, was murdered in Deer Lodge in 1866. His wife Amanda Mahoney Mallory came later. When did she come and who did the daughters Lucy, Mary, and Martha Mallory marry? Lucy may have married Dennis Shoolin but cannot find them in the census. Amanda must have returned to Indiana, as there is a grave marker for her in Henry county cemetery near Cadiz, Indiana.
