Charles Franklin Smith BURT was born to ELI and KEZIAH BURT in 1843. His two siblings were SOPHIA BURT b.1834 and JAMES M BURT b.1835.He moved to New Zealand where he was Naturalised in 1899. He married Elizabeth Ann Avery, Taita, Wellington in 1872. He died in 1917 and is buried at Mangatainoka, Pahiatua New Zealand.
