I am Vincent Barla but my original surname is "Bara". I find that other people across the world have surname "Bara". So I have become curious about geneology. I belong to Chotanagpur Region of India and subsequently migrated to Andaman and Nicobar Islands from where by error our title got changed in official records. I know that our ancestors belonged to Harappa Civilisation and they came to India after invasion by Aryans. There are thousands of family with Bara surname in Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh and orissa state of India.
