looking for info on a Thomas BATTEN(wife:Dollie BATTEN), they had atleast one son that i know of, Henry BATTEN born april, 1846, married to edith WOOD BATTEN on Dec.6 1883, her parents were John WOOD and Pennie WOOD. Henry and Edith had 11 children, 1900 johnston county census, the 1910 census shows henry as widowed with one new child added since 1900 census, a son, Colen BATTEN. One of Henry's sons, Tommie BATTEN, married Mollie CREECH BATTEN, one of their sons was my gran-dad, Thurman Odell BATTEN(wife:Erdine WOOD), they had several daughters, one son, John Henry BATTEN, he was my father.
