Peter Bellrose, Born Pierre Bellerose, was born 2 mar 1853 in Ste Felix de Valois, Quebec. Died 9 May 1929 North Bennington, Bennington, VT. His son, Henry stated on his marriage certificate that his mother was Eliza Cadiaux. Henry was born in Cohoes NY. I would love to find the marriage for Peter and Eliza Cadieux. At his death he was married to Eliza Carey. Carey was born in 1859 and died on 27 Aug 1928 in Brattleboro, VT. I have never been able to find her marriage certificate either so I have never been able to figure which children belonged to her and which belonged to Eliza Cadieux. Both ladies used Eliza as a first name and may have used several other first names. If any one knows of these persons please get in touch with me. I have extensive information on the Rival Bellerose, the Hyacinthe Bellerose , and the Menard Bellerose families as well. My family is of the Rivat/Rival-dit-Bellerose family. There were at least 15 families who used the dit name of Bellerose so it is a hard family to trace. I have mine back to the 1500s except for my Ggrandfather Pierre.
