STILLWELL - Edward John married Annie WATT, around 1887.
a daughter, Emma STILLWELL,born circa 1852 at
Kent, England, married 25 Sep. 1873, John BEATTIE,
born circa 1846,
at Christchurch NZ,and had about 9 children:

3. Edward James Robert, born circa 1877
4. Arthur John,born circa 1879
5. Frederick, born circa 1881
*6. Emma Jane, born 11 Aug 1884 at Lincoln Road, Christchurch. NZ.

8. Agnes Mary Lydia, born circa 1891
**9. Clara Lillian, born circa 1895

BEATTIE - John, died 1917, and was buried on Sunday 10 June 1917,
at Addington Cemetery Christchurch, NZ (plot 709A).
Aged 70 years.

BEATTIE - nee STILLWELL - Emma, died 1936, and was buried near her husband in plot 708C, on Sunday 7 June 1936 aged 84years.

*BEATTIE - Emma Jane, married on the 22 July 1910, at Registry Office, Christchurch, NZ, to Theophilus BEST, born 9 Dec 1884, at Waimate. NZ. Emma died 20 Sep 1960, Christchurch. NZ. and Theophilus died 2 Dec 1950, Christchurch. NZ. Both are buried in the Ruru Lawn Cemetery, Christchurch. NZ.

Would like to hear from anyone, who has a connection with any of these families.

Looking for family of John LANGLEY.

John LANGLEY arrived in Sth. Australia on the PUNJAB in 1855, with his wife and three of his children.
I am trying to find when and where John died. Ann his wife died 1881, and she was a widow (from BDM discs). She died at Caltowie, Sth. Australia.

I have not been able also to find out her Maiden name. (Priestley, is a possability.) The Langley family were born around Huntingdonshire, England.

Looking for information on Thomas BOWYER

Thomas BOWYER arrived in Sth. Australia on the Norman, with his wife and family, in 1855.
Wanting to know more about his whereabouts before he shifted to Yankalilla, Sth. Australia.

I have some information on the family and decendants from Yankalilla, and am willing to share what I have.

Trying to find the BEST family of Christchurch, NZ.
Theophilus BEST c1885 -1950's, married Emma Jane BEATTIE c1884 - 1960, around 1910. They had 4 children. Myrtle married C HUMM,
Trevor married Jean Unknown, Glad Gwendoline born 13 Oct 1913, married Alex RODDA, and Leslie Arnold, born 04 Aug 1916 - died June 1994, at Whangarei, NZ. He married Ethel May BISHOP, and had 3 sons.
