Walter family from Maidstone, Kent, England

Hi and hoping someone may be able to help me find any information about the Walter family. My husband's great grandmother was Hannah Walter who was born about 1864 in Maidstone, Kent, England and around 1872 Hannah then aged about 7-8 years of age came out to NZ. As yet I do not know what port she arrived in let alone what ship she sailed out on. On her death certificate it states her parents were John Walter and mother Elizabeth Walter (also her maiden name was Walter)and that Hannah had lived in NZ for 76 years at time of her death, Hannah was 85 when she died. Hannah (known as Annie in NZ)married Erick Victor Lundqvist (born in Sweden) in Wellington when she was age 21. They had five children, sons Leonard Victor; Walter Stanley, Louis Edward and Albert Thomas and one daughter Eveline Helen and all children were born in Wellington. Hannah died in the Wellington hospital in 1948 and her residence for many years was 55 Hanson Street, Wellington. I have been unable to trace any death information on her parents John and Elizabeth in the NZBDM or any NZ city libraries indexes and NZ Archives. I received a message from a gentleman via ancestry who researches the Walter family from Kent and he mentioned that he thinks "my" Hannah was the daughter of Mary Elisabeth Walter and that Mary E was only about 18 and single when she had Hannah and that Hannah lived with her grandparents John and Elizabeth Walter and Hannah may have come out to NZ with two of her mother's sisters Emma (married name Sears) and Ruth Walter but unfortunately with that information have not been able to find any passenger lists for Hannah and her two aunties and her uncle in law Henry Sears. I have found a couple of census for a John and Elizabeth Walter and a 1871 census for a Hannah Walter living with her mother Mary and grandmother Elizabeth in Maidstone but am not sure if they "belong" on my husbands tree. Thanking you and Cheers, Judy

BERRY Family from Caton (?) Lancashire to Auckland, NZ - 1907

Hi, I know just a little bit about my father's fathers side that came from England to settle in NZ back in 1907. My g/father - John Edward 'Ted' Berry was about 15 yrs old when he made the trip on the 'SS Dover" with his parents Edward Thomas 'Ned' and Clara (nee Herrick) Berry and his 8 brothers and sisters. Also when they landed in Auckland there were some family waiting for them but not sure if it was Berry or Herrick family that were already living there. Is there anyone who knows of a Edward Thomas Berry (born abt 1868) and his wife Clara (nee Herrick)(born abt 1867) family that came from Caton (?) or the Lancashire areas. The photo i have added is of the Berry family when living in Auckland as the youngest child (Eva?) was born in Auckland. Also the gentleman on the left top is a brother to either Ned or Clara. Thanks

My g/father Alfred Prime snr was born around 1869 in either Wales or NZ. He was married to Charlotte Rosanna (nee deMALMANCHE)and they lived in Wellington. Hawera, Levin and Auckland. They had 5 children - Ivy Adeline, Grace, Irene, Josephine (Jo) and Alfred (Alf) jnr. Alfred Prime died in Auckland on May 15th, 1957.
