I originate from the Revolutionary War Era John Gibbs, Sr.,b.1756. who was married to Hannah Muchmore,b.1759. Their son John Gibbs, Jr., b.1786, married to Elizabeth Shepherd,b.1798,they have a son Mason K. Gibbs, b.1825, who married Melvina Terrill, b.1830, are my GGG Grandparents. They had a son John CB Gibbs,b.1857, who married Sarah Smith, b.1855, who are the parents of my Grandfather, Timothy Gibbs,b.1880, who married Belle Brewer,b. 1890. Most of these people spent the majority of their lives in Kentucky. My father is Kelly Gibbs, born 1916 and married Eva Lee Smith, b.1919. They had 11 children, and I am 4th from the top being a twin to a brother and we were born in 1949 in Scottsburg, Indiana but moved to Breathitt Co.,Ky as small children and grew up there untill we graduated high school. I have lived in Middletown, Ohio since getting married in 1968. Kentucky will always be home though!!!
