I have been searching for some time now with no results so far. Hope this new-found site will be able to assist.

My mother always believed her mother came from Inverness-shire or Sutherland-shire.

My g/g/mother was Barbara McLennan who subsequently married John McKenzie [who was a baker] sometime after my g/mother's birth. My mother also had an aunt Dolina McLennan, who was a witness at my g/parents marriage.

These details are verified on the marriage certificate of my g/parents, Margaret Ann McLennan and Hugh Cassidy on April 10 1913 in the Dennistoun District of Glasgow. Their ages are 31 & 26 respectively.

I would also like to find out more about my g/g/mother Barbara McLennan. It is possible that they moved to England after their marriage.
