My grandmother Gundy Eldor is from Norway and latre immigrated to Canada. Eldor is a very uncommon norweigian name and I am looking for any inforamtion reguarding the Eldors. I am looking for information of my grandfathers family. My grandfather is Pierce Turkington born in Tryone Norther Ireland. His father name was also Pierce Turkington and his mothers name was Mary Elizabeth Mellan. Pirece senior was in WWI and Pierce junior was in the Queens Army in WWII. Pierce junior immigrated to Canada. If anyone has any info on the Turkingtons it would be soo wonderful.
