Looking for information on Thomas P. Martin b 1822, Ireland, and lived in Bexar, Texas abt 1860

I am looking for Thomas P. Martin who imigrated on 4 May, 1842 from Liverpool, Great Britain to New York with brothers and sisters--John, James, Peter, Ann, Mary, and Margaret. There was also a Bridget Martin with them who was born in 1802, making her older than everyone else in the family by 17 years. I think she may have actually been there Mother.

From there I have been unable to track any of the other siblings or Bridget with the exception of Thomas P. Martin who I found in Franklin, St Marys Parish, Louisiana in 1850. He was married to a Jane Irene Pooley and had a daughter by the name of Jenney. Jane was listed as Mary Jane--Maybe a mistake. I have an actual letter from Thomas naming his wife as Jane Irene from the same year as the 1850 Census.

The next time I find the family is in the 1860 Bexar, Texas Census now with Jenney, Robert, Thomas, and Mary for children. I also have them in the 1870 Census in Bexar with additional children of Jefferson Davis, Willy, and John, but Thomas P. is now listed as being widowed. The last time I found the family was in the 1880 Census for the same county and he is living with sons Willy and John.

I have additional information and more recent census records for Jefferson Davis who is my ggGrandfather, and for his brothers Thomas and John.

If anyone has any additional information on this family I would dearly love to hear about it--Thanks
