Looking for information on the Griffin Family of Astwood Bank Warwickshire. about 1860s

George Griffin Born 1872 Astwood Bank. In 1901 he married Ada Fanny Parsons. In 1911 they were living at Sapcote, leicestershire. Had 2 sons Edward Herbert Reginald (my Grandad),Hubert Bernard Stephen ( who I was never told about by my family!!!!).George and Ada then moved to Prince Albert Street Bordesley Green. The only info I was told by my parents was that my grandads parents came from lutterworth and that grandads father was a train driver. According to the 1911 Census. George Griffin was a stoke boiler at a stone quarry at sapcote.I have traced information about ada whose maiden name was `Parsons from the village of Shawell Leicestershire .Have found a sister& brother on the 1891 census. NOw trying to trace George Griffin Parents or any brothers or sisters.

Thankyou so much SilverVixen for the information on George Griffin.

My 2nd cousin has given me photographs of George Griffin and his wife Ada. Cousin told me George had a sister called patty. She found a postcard addressed to Mrs Griffin at Priory Lodge Princethorpe Rugby. Have found 2 photos on the internet of the lodge. My cousin said she can remember Ada Griffin talking about some relatives with a nice house, so am wondering if it was Priory Lodge.I will look on the Census records for Rugby.
