Publishing a Family Tree
If you have experience in publishing a Family Tree, or even in researching how to publish a Family Tree, I would appreciate your information.
I planning to publish a Genealogy Report of the 9 generations I have found during my research, over the past 14 years. I will use Family Tree Maker for the Genealogy Report, but am not sure how to format the book. Should I breakup the 110 page report into chapters, by generation. Also would self publishing be an viable option of is a Publishing Co. better??
Thanks

BARRON in Banff Scotland
My 3rd Great Grandfather was John BARRON, in 1799 he married Margaret McCurrach in the Parish of Rathven, Banff Scotland. I have been unable to find him in any other Parish records or census. Their Descendants lived at the dwellings named Berrybaunds and Bunnach for several generations. I am looking for any suggestions on how to find out where John came from. My father immigrated to Canada in 1920 and Buffalo NY in 1923.
