why cant i get any results from either montreal or st.johns.nl

i cant even obtain my own birth certifacate .i applied to quebec for it and they sent me a copy of my birth certifacate after i was legaly adopted in 1972,with my adoptive name on it,not my birth name nor my birth mothers name on it just my adoptive parents on it .i was born nov 02 1958 at the royal victoria hospital in montreal,would they have record of me being born there.its been 52 years now and i know of sibblings that i have but seems useless that nobody can help after searching for at least 20 years can you help thanks

SEARCHING FOR ANY INFORMATION ON CAULFIELD FAMILY FROM ST.JOHNS N.L.MOTHER WAS BORN IN THE EARLIER OR MID 1920'S.LATER HER PARENTS[MY GRAND PARENTS COULD HAVE SETTLED IN N.L ST.JOHNS AREA IN EARLIER YEARS FROM IRELAND.MY BIRTH MOTHER HAD MOVED TO MONTREAL AND GAVE BIRTH TO A SON AND NAMED HIM GARRY IN 1958 AND COULD HAVE OTHER CHILDREN.BIRTH MOTHER'S FIRST NAME COULD HAVE BEEN WINNIFRED OR SUSANNAH CAULFIELD.SHORTLY AFTER HER SON WAS BORN HE WAS PLACED IN FOSTER CARE DUE TO MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES HIS MOTHER HAD SUFFERED, AND HER OTHER CHILDREN COULD HAVE ALSO BEEN PLACED IN FOSTER CARE IN MONTREAL.BIRTH MOTHER IN HER LIFE HAD SEVERAL MARRAIGES AND LATER ON IN HER LIFE SHE HAD MOVED BACK TO ST.JOHNS NEWFOUNDLAND WHERE SHE HAD LATER DIED IN 1996.ALSO SEARCHING FOR ANY WOMEN WHO WAS BORN IN THE EARLIER OR MID 1920'S AND HAD PASSED AWAY IN 1996 IN ST.JOHNS NEWFOUNDLAND.ANY INFORMATION ON THE ABOVE JOURNAL WOULD BE VERY APPRECAITED,THANK-YOU DEAN

SEARCHING FOR ANY INFORMATION BIRTH MOTHER AND SIBBLINGS.my birth mother was born in st.johns n.l in or around 1920/1925.she had moved to montreal quebec in the early 50's and gave birth to me in 1958 in montreal.shortly after i was born i was put in foster care,and was legally adopted in 1974.i have told that i have a sister which is either a few years younger or older than me .my birth mother had some mental health issues in her life and at my time she was unfit to care for her children.later on in her life she had moved back to st.johns newfoundland where she had died in 1996.little information that i have is that she had been married several times and is almost impossible to start any kind of search has i've found out for the last 15years or so.iam seeking any info that anybody might have or that might be able to point me in some kind of a new direction differant than the ones that i've been doing myself for the last 15yrs or so.if i ever do find my sister or any other sibblings or my mother's life it would be a very unique story thanks for reading dean
