Searching for MANES, NARON, PETERS

I married into the Manes family and had three children. I am looking into their family tree for my grandchildren. My late father-in-law was Leonard Ray Manes born 1930 in New Mexico/died in Stockton,CA 2004. He was the son of Bonnie Austin Manes (died in the late 1950s) and Lorene (unknown). I know that Lorene never remarried and died in Anchorage, Alaska 1993. No other information has been found other than Leonard had a sister. According to the tale I received from Leonard, the family name was originally MacManus or McManus. Reportedly from Ireland. The name changed to *Manes* after a horse thief by the same name was caught and hanged. I met several Manes family members when we lived in Bakersfield, but unfortunately, I do not remember names and connections.

My mother-in-law was Karen Lee Naron, born 1932 in CA and died in 1990. They were married in Bakersfield, CA and had three children. Her father was George Lester Naron (1991 to 1993); mother was Sadie Katherine Peters (1902 to 1981). Sadie was raised in the Quaker church.
Geo's father was Robert Alcorn Naron (1870 to 1945)born in Mississippi/died in Bakersfield, CA. Robert's father was Levi Holloway Naron (born in Mississippi), but no mention of his mother has been found. Geo's mother was Tinna Jane Dennison (1871 to 1955)born in Iowa/died in Bakersfield, CA.
Sadie was the daughter of John J. Peters (1872 to 1954)born in Liebenau, Molotschna, South Russia and Agnes Peters. Other than finding Agnes did not need to change her name after the marriage, I have not found anything. I know the Peters clan was large during the 70s in the Kern County area of Ca.

In search of Grabeel & Harding Families connected in Kansas

Looking for connections to the Grabeel and Harding families that married in Liberal. Kansas 1927? Moved to Colorado, Kansas and then to California.
Charles Victor Grabeel--born Feb. 12, 1900 in Strafford, Missouri-- married Mora Leola Harding--born May 20,1911 in Liberal, Kansas. Charles was born to Thomas Ervin Grabeel and Belle Cora McSwain. He was one of nine children. Charlie and Belle both died in Liberal in the early 1940s.
Mora was born to Lee R. Harding and Frankie Fern Schooler. She was one of nine. She claimed a relation to President Harding and said she found the link, but it has been lost since we could not find it after her death. I have been unable to find any information on Schooler at all.
Charli and Mora had seven children. One of them married into the McAllister family. Two of Charlie's sisters also married McAllister(s). The third marriage of McAllister/Grabeel was of second cousins.

If you have any information on any of these people please contact me. It would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Chris
