Paralee Boyd

I would like to have death information on Paralee Boyd. She was married to James Peter Boyd, Waycross, GA. Birth about 1867. Last census she was found was 1910 Waycross, Ware County, GA, spouse Peter; the spelling of her name was Perry L. If you are a researcher, filing in dates is crucial and she has me befuddled. Any help would be greatly appreciated. You can feel free to send me a message.

The Past

The Past

Wrinkled faces
each indentation telling a story
of a time past,
and whimsical dreams.

Indentations of tormented moments,
deep thoughts,
and life through squinted eyes.

The face once smooth
now holds wrinkles,
it can now cradle and contain
the tears that once flowed.

Happiness of birth and sorrow
from death,
driven aches of fear,
and the thrill from delight.

The past etched in the faces
like words etched in granite stone,
My Dearly Beloved

Ancestry Search: BOYD and HAIRSTON

I tend to have a relative that I'm researching and I stick with him/her until I find a clue, a result, an all conclusive fact. It's as if I can't let go. Looking for them, you find the era of time they lived and you familiarize yourself with it. You have so many life scenarios that you hone in on and never know the truth, for it is so long ago. But that's the attachment.

I look for a reason to let go, searching and finding nothing. The frustration, but I don't. I owe them. To honor and give respect to someone I never met. I exist because of them.

In our family there was my grandfather, Eugene Coatland Hairston. Eugene's father was Tipp, and Tipp had a sister named Sallie, but I found that Tipp had more sisters and brother's yet unknown to me. I found Tipp's mother and father, Bob and Betsey Hairston. I never knew Eugene Coatland Hairston, but he is now so much more.

In our family, on my father's side, there was only Frank Boyd. We only knew he had sisters, Mary and Martha, I found out that they were twins and there were more siblings, a family of fourteen children. I found Frank's mother and father, Peter and Parilee Boyd. I now have great grandparents. I knew him, but he is now much more.

Finding and giving relevance to our ancestors, may not be easy but the wealth of information you find enhances who you are. Finding a name is wealth, yes it is!

HAIRSTON's from Sauartown, NC

Looking for anyone who has information on African-American Hairston's, Dicey, Miranda, Manerva. Daughters of Bob & Betsy Hairston.

TARPLEY

I received a response this evening from an earlier posting re. Stella TARPLEY. This is to extend my gratitude and to encourage others, if you have even a tidbit of information to share, for the one seeking info it's a plateful.

NEWLAND, Estella of Columbus OH

Anyone know Estella Newland from Columbus Ohio?

TARPLEY, Stella

On another site I requested help in a cemetery lookup. Stella Tarpley, died 12/25/1934 in Columbus OH at the age of 23. She had two children, the youngest was my father, Cecil. He was nine months at the time. The other son, older than my Dad was not known at the time. Stella's body was returned to her home Hillsboro OH and I haven't found any cemetery records to where she is buried.

Stella and her family are much interest merely for one point. How did her family not take and raise her nine month old child?

My byline is Finding Pieces Of Me.....I'm trying. My father never did.
