james and jane LOCHHEAD from Scotland, settled in New Zealand.

Seeking any information from decendants of James and Jane Lochhead (nee RUSSELL) who settled in Dunsandle, New Zealand in late 1850s.
Their son Robert Russell was born in Dunbarton, Scotland in 1855 so i guess this is where they are from. But I have no further information than that.

BONNINGTON, Joseph & Harriet arrived in New Zealand aboard the 'Mariner' 1849

Harriet BONNINGTON arrived in New Zealand aboard the Mariner on the 12 July 1849, she travelled with her 6 children.

Charles 20
Henry 16
Emma 14
George 12
Joseph 11

Her husband Joseph may have sailed at a different time as there is no mention of him on the passenger list. They settled in Nelson and had a further 3 children after they arrived - Frederick 1844, Christopher 1845 and Mary Ellen 1847.

Frederick Bonnington of Nelson and Canterbury - New Zealand

I am trying to discover details about the children of Frederick Bonnington.

He was born to Joseph and Harriett Bonnington in Derbyshire, 1844.
The family emigrated to New Zealand in 1849 aboard the Mariner.

In 1865 he married Mary Ann SAYWELL the daughter of George and Susan SAYWELL who emigrated to Nelson, New Zealand in 1840.

His Brother Herbert had also married Susan Quafe SAYWELL.

George Bonnington, an elder brother of Frederick, was a well known chemist in Christchurch, New Zealand.
