James was a Customs Officer in Scotland. He married Agnes Wilson. He possibly came from Renfrewshire. His son was William Wilson Lees b1845 Johnstone Scotland died 1899 Campbelltown NSW.
Any information re Jessie Merle Lees b 1815.
Jessie' parents were Leslie Oliver Smith Lees and Jessie Clarence McCreery.
Last indicator re Jessie is the 1949 nsw Electoral roll at 8 Patrick Street Chatswood nsw with Leslie O S Lees.

I can trace her living at Jess Cottage,73 Riverview Road Undercliffe nsw with Lees family members.
The last trace of Jessie Merle is at 8 Patrick Street Chatswood, nsw with her father, Leslie O S Lees, in 1949. This detail came from NSW Electoral rolls.
I can find no further mention of Jessie Merle Lees.

William Wilson Lees was born in Johnstone, Scotland 1845. His parents were James Lees and Agnes(s) Wilson. James was a Customs Officer.
