I'm researching this ancestor of mine. Anyone else also researching him? Died in 1817. Revolutionary War soldier. Married Margery Denny Wilson (maiden name was Denny, James Wilson was her first husband) in 1778. They had 5 children together. I believe two of his brothers were Josiah Lockhart of Lancaster, PA and Samuel Lockhart, sometimes of Frederick County, VA and sometimes of Lancaster, PA. Also, probably had a son named Robert Lockhart of Lancaster, PA died 1804 and a daughter Margaret Lockhart, unmarried in 1804. Perhaps first married a woman, maiden name Lyons either from Ireland or of Irish descent.
