I am descended from Henry+ Alice (the executed) Lake, Dorchester Mass, Little Compton RI, Dutchess co. NY, in Michigan since 1837. My line is published in "The Settlers Of Beekman's Patent" Vol. #7. I have studied several Lake families besides my own. Other families of interest; Lake, Hummel, Devens, Crapo,, Tripp, Tabor, Knowles, Crane, Ashton, Doty, Pratt, Many others also.
