Am searching for ancestral lines of NANCY RAMSEY, who wed GREEN/GREENBERRY CAMDEN in Lincoln Co, KY
9-11-1854 (really!) and her father, JOEL RAMSEY, who signed for her to marry...I have been unable to find the right NANCY or JOEL in the plethora of RAMSEY data out there in cyberspace, as well as local genealogical collections, can anyone help? GREEN CAMDEN is also a mystery. Believe he may have married twice, the first
wife being burned to death in a cabin fire, possibly set by Indians...ring any bells for anyone? Believe this
couple probably moved on from KY to MO, where a daughter of NANCY & GREEN, MARY CAMDEN, wed WM JESSE HOGAN, and their son, CLARENCE ADAM HOGAN, born near Gainesville, Ozark Co, MO, in 1896, was my grandfather....
