SEEKING KARL MINTZ FAMILY from BESSARABIA, RUSSIA to NORTH DAKOTA AND THE GEORGE SENECA TURNER FAMILY FROM NEW YORK TO NORTH DAKOTA

MINTZ QUERY

Re: MINTZ
Author: GARY NADEN
Surnames: TURNER, MINTZ

My name is GARY L. NADEN and I am involved in GENEALOGY research on my Mother?s family.
Her Maiden Name was IRENE AUGUSTA MINTZ and her father was WILLIAM ?(Bill)-(F)REDERICK MINTZ .
In my research of my Mother?s MATERNAL family (GEORGE SENECA TURNER and HARRIET AUGUSTA CASE-TURNER)
I had access to my Mom?s old photo album (at a recent family reunion) and inside the back cover it stated that my Grandmother ADDIE HARRIET TURNER-MINTZ was born in 1900 in COGSWELL, (HARLEM TOWNSHIP) SARGENT COUNTY,NORTH DAKOTA.
George Seneca and his family, along with George William had moved to COGSWELL,(HARLEM TWP.)SARGENT COUNTY, NORTH DAKOTA around 1883 where the family resided (and where my Grandmother, ADDIE HARRIET TURNER-MINTZ was born in 1900) until around 1920 when GEORGE WILLIAM TURNER (Sr.) died. At that time, GEORGE SENECA and his wife HATTIE AGUSTA CASE-TURNER and their remaining children moved to LEAF RIVER, WADENA Co., MINNESOTA where GEORGE opened and ran a store.
George died on 09/29/1939.
Harriet died on 08/02/1946.

When I went to the Sargent County web page and was able to research the 1880 and 1900 U.S. Census records I found the TURNERS.
Then I went to the 1910 U.S. Census and while skimming the records, I came across a listing for a Mr. J0HN UCHNER and his wife JOHANNA (Daughter of GEORGE & HARRIET TURNER).
The interesting part was that it not only listed their children living with them, but it listed a Mother-In-Law JOHANNA MINTZ along with her two son?s ARNDT MINTZ and the youngest son WILLIAM F. MINTZ born in MAY,1900...
I also found in my Mother?s Photo album a photo of WILLIAM F. MINTZ taken in 1911 with the caption ? DADDY WITH HIS FIRST PAIR OF LONG PANTS, 11 YEARS OLD?!!
I know that FERDINAND MINTZ DIED JANUARY 29th,1910 just before the JULY U.S. Census was taken and I?m assuming that since her husband was dead and she was in mourning that JOHANNA MINTZ took her two sons to COGSWELL, SARGENT COUNTY (about 50 miles away) to live with her Daughter and Son in Law! JOHANNA MINTZ later re-married in March 1911 to JOHANN GEBHARDT.
I am also assuming ( since this was a very small community) that my Grandmother ADDIE TURNER (who was 10)
and my Grandfather WILLIAM F. MINTZ, (who was also 10) were in the same class in school and that is
where they met and connected!!
I have located my Mother's younger Sister's Family (DONNA MAE MINTZ-McMICHAEL Died in 1955)
but I still have not found my Mother's Middle Sister DOROTHY MINTZ-LENO-??.
